My Targa X652 Series with Custom-made Fiberglass kickpad
June 27, 2008So here we go again with my DO-It-Yourself thingy. I have the privileged to own an X-652 series Coaxial Targa speakers. With 150 watts power, It kicks the Inner of charade with brilliant sound. When I got my charade the speakers are mounted on the sidings of the door. Everytime you open the door the spealer wobble that I think it would fall on the ground. With the X-series 652 Targa of Dai-ichi I had been forced to continue my project.
The Kickpad holder for the Speakers. I bought the speaker to a fellow DCP, Usually they call him in the forum as Slowdownson, and the shop is CONVOY Mode. Thanks again Dennis for the Speaker MDF holder.
I won’t post here the step by step procedure on how do I make the fiberglass but only the Final Product. As you can see from the pictures here it’s still not been painted since I’m waiting for the typhoon frank to go out and for atleast a better temp to continue the job. The 6.5′ speakers exactly fitted at the kickpad part of the Charade. The sound is good and the price is cheap. It’s a good buy. I’d recommend using these speakers if your on budget like me. I’m planning to buy the 6 X 9 speaker sub for the back part since adding an MDF box at the car would add another weight and would also add more gas consumption. If you would like to have this kickpad kindly send me an email and I will have it fabricated for a minimal amount.
