uBUNTU gNOME Startx error

So if you got an error Startx server gnome problem. this is how you do it. 

After a screen resolution using  the command,

sudo dpkg—reconfigure xerver-xorg and getting the vesa as my driver also adding the resolution to 1284 X 1025 I got an error.

I even tried loading the live version and X server fails when trying to start Gnome. Maybe this one will work for you..\

 If you are using DELL inspiron, you have to use i810 as your driver. and it will work as a charm. try it…
