I was trying to surf the net and test everything that was in there but I can’t see but an anti-virus that can’t remove this variant. MMDA’s Pink Urinal

This really was a nice project of MMDA chairman Bayani Fernando. I spent half hour travelling using my scooter. And somethimes you need to be refreshed from all the liquids you have inside. I found 3 pink urinals along North Ave. Now they are been replaced with Plastic Colored Pink urinals. it seems they have found out a new way of attracting gents like me to take part of having our metro “gwapo”. Now also the catcher is plastic so there is no way it can be rusty or anything that will have it deteriorated.

This shot was taken before NFA main Office along North Ave.Why not try somewhere else and see the convenience of this pink urinals can saved your life and time.

Go MMDA, sometimes you do things right and I have this blog just for you.

How to Build Your Own Hydrogen Fuel Cell

October 6, 2008

The hydrogen fuel cell is an important innovation that is getting the attention of car owners who are sick of paying more for gas. If you are keen to learn how to build your own hydrogen fuel cell, but are worried about your lack of technical expertise, take heart. It is not as complicated as it sounds.

What is a hydrogen fuel cell?

First, let me briefly explain what this device is all about, and how it works to save you money at the gas pump.

The hydrogen fuel cell is a DIY device that can be assembled and installed under your car hood. Among other common parts, it comprises a quart-size container that holds water. By drawing electricity from your car’s internal power supply, the fuel cell extracts energy from water by converting it into a hydrogen-based gas called HHO, or Brown’s gas (named after the famed Bulgarian scientist, Yull Brown).

The system can be configured to produce HHO gas on-demand either (a) through an on/off switch or (b) for as long as your car’s engine is running. This HHO produced is then channeled through the intake manifold into the combustion chamber to mix with gasoline. By doing so, the combustion rate of gasoline is greatly enhanced, and burns cleanly and completely. This explains why drivers who have installed this kit have reported significant gas savings of 50% or more, depending on vehicle make and traveling conditions.

If you are safety-conscious, you will be glad to know that a hydrogen fuel cell is very safe to use. It does not produce hydrogen gas directly (which can be highly dangerous), but HHO gas. This gas is three times more powerful than normal gasoline but yet it burns with the chemical stability of water. All this takes place under controlled circumstances in the combustion chamber.

Besides improved fuel economy, many drivers have also reported increased horsepower, smoother and quieter engine operation. The car also produces cleaner emissions. Why not? After all, you are using water as a fuel source to produce HHO!

How can I build one?

If you are looking to buy a ready-made unit, you are unlikely to find one. You can engage your local car mechanic to build and install this in your car. But this can easily set you back by $1000 to $1500 or even more.

However, if you are one who loves to work things around the house, you will find that it is most cost-effective to build this system yourself. Even if you have no technical expertise, there are excellent guidebooks online which will show you how to assemble a unit, from start-to-finish. So, why not learn how to build your own hydrogen fuel cell and start saving on gas? You will be reaping benefits for a long time to come.

Want to build one yourself but do not know where to start?

Fret not! Many people in your shoes have successfully built their own hydrogen fuel cells and are already shaving $1000s off their gas bills. If you need step-by-step guidance in installing one, I have reviewed the Top 3 Online Guides on Hydrogen Fuel Cell for your convenience. These highly recommended guides provide easy-to-follow instructions that will help you save money in no time.

HHO Gas - What’s That Strange Gas?

Ok, I imagine that you’ve done your research about hydrogen powered cars, and are now ready to jump into the magical world that is hydrogen power. However, you’re probably wondering, what is HHO gas, and what does it have to do with your desire to run an inexpensive hydrogen powered car?

HHO Gas: The facts

The HHO in HHO gas is known scientifically as oxyhydrogen, and is a fancy way of saying that an HHO gas molecule has 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom per molecule. HHO gas is produced through electrolysis of water, and water is obviously pretty easy to get, so it is easy to get a source to generate HHO gas from. HHO gas has been proven to be 3 times more powerful than gasoline, so the potential for fuel is enormous.

The HHO Generator: How it works

A HHO Generator, or HHO gas car kits as some literature may refer to it, is a special modification added to your car that allows your car to run on HHO gas. The HHO generator essentially works by using a small quart size container of distilled water (and a small smidgen of baking soda) to generate the HHO gas. The HHO generator performs an electrolytic conversion using power from your car’s engine to create the HHO gas, and pushes the gas into the car’s carburetor.

Benefits of a HHO Generator

HHO Generators, as you can see from the previous paragraph, are relatively maintenance-free, requiring only the occasional addition of a few ounces of water to keep it running. You can also use your HHO generator in many different vehicles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even lawn mowers! They also don’t take up much room under the hood, and for your average handyman, are easy to install.

So what are you waiting for, get off your butt and get those HHO generators running. I see increased fuel savings in your future!

Are you looking for ways to stop paying high prices at the gas station?

Microsoft beats Apple, Ubuntu in service reliability

July 14, 2008

A company that measures internet service reliability has given Microsoft the top score in a test of operating system update services.

Microsoft’s Windows Update was available 100 percent of the second quarter of 2008, Pingdom said in a blog posting on Friday. Apple’s service was down two hours and 34 minutes, with 99.9 percent uptime, and Canonical’s Ubuntu version of Linux was down one day, five hours and 45 minutes, for 98.64 percent uptime.

“Microsoft wins this one hands down,” Pingdom said. It noted that Ubuntu’s service also is available through mirror sites, however.

My Targa X652 Series with Custom-made Fiberglass kickpad

June 27, 2008

So here we go again with my DO-It-Yourself thingy. I have the privileged to own an X-652 series Coaxial Targa speakers. With 150 watts power, It kicks the Inner of charade with brilliant sound. When I got my charade the speakers are mounted on the sidings of the door. Everytime you open the door the spealer wobble that I think it would fall on the ground.   With the X-series 652 Targa of Dai-ichi I had been forced to continue my project.

The Kickpad holder for the Speakers. I bought the speaker to a fellow DCP, Usually they call him in the forum as Slowdownson, and the shop is CONVOY Mode. Thanks again Dennis for the Speaker MDF holder.

I won’t post here the step by step procedure on how do I make the fiberglass but only the Final Product. As you can see from the pictures here it’s still not been painted since I’m waiting for the typhoon frank to go out and for atleast a better temp to continue the job. The 6.5′ speakers exactly fitted at the kickpad part of the Charade. The sound is good and the price is cheap. It’s a good buy. I’d recommend using these speakers if your on budget like me. I’m planning to buy the 6 X 9 speaker sub for the back part since adding an MDF box at the car would add another weight and would also add more gas consumption. If you would like to have this kickpad kindly send me an email and I will have it fabricated for a minimal amount.

Single Email client in 3 different OS.

May 30, 2008

I’ve installed my laptop to boot into 3 OSes; Ubuntu,XP,Vista. Now for comfortability eventhough I’m login  on my ubuntu OS I have managed to open My Email client with the same inbox on what I have in VISTA and XP.

Here is what I’ve done. Because Linux can read the NTFS format you can install thunderbird either at XP or Vista. I observed that thunderbird even on linux and Microsoft environment has the same packaging. It uses  MSF format to wrap their packages. Now on the Account settings of each thunderbird of different OS. You have to point it to the one you have thunderbird defaultly installed. So every now and then you don’t have to log out of your OS and restart your laptop just to be able to get your emails intact.

Happy Hacking..

Recover Ubuntu 7.04 afted enabling Desktop effects.

So you have enable desktop effects to your laptop. And now you have a crashed Operating system. whenever you boot to the Ubuntu log in after 5seconds the desktop environment hangs. Upon doing some research here what I’ve found out. You need to remove all the .gnome on your user root directory. It’s where your profile was save. upon removing these directories you will come up with a new profile with the new  configuration wherein the default config includes a disabled desktop effects.

Here’s the command that would help you recover your Ubuntu environment.

rm -rf .gnome

rm -rf .gnome2

rm -rf .gconf

rm -rf .gconfd

rm -rf .metacity

the rm -rf * didn’t wok for me so I have to manually input this five commands.

Hope this help.

Charade Back on the Road

May 16, 2008

After two weeks of overhaul, My charade is back, kicking the road again. It’s running 60kph for a break-in. 400kms and going are on the odometer reading. The mechanic said it should be about 1000 kms and I could connect the Compressor Belt on the engine. It’s nice to know that the climate today is Cold and don’t need the aircon. What I love driving this charade is the economical consumption on gas. I drove it from taytay rizal to mindanao ave, qc. and with Php 200 of Gas tank filled (4liters) I still can get back home with tank meter at half. Approximately, 13-15 kms/liter of consumption. Because it’s lightweight and No aircon attached maybe I got this reading.

Windows Vista + XP + Linux

May 15, 2008

I was been fortunate to received the cd’s from Ubuntu linux. It costs me about Php 35 for the Postal Service. The Package Includes 2 32 Bit Ubuntu CD and 1 64 Ubuntu CD.

Right now my laptop is configured to have 2 OSes, One is Ubuntu and the other is XP. I’m going now to change my laptop and I believe this will be a good start to install the 3 OS. XP+ Vista + Ubuntu. I’m now doing some research on HOW-TOs of installing this software.

Finally, I have now My laptop Dell Inspiron 1420, AndI managed to have the 3 OS working. Ubunt, XP, and Vista. i’m having hard time finding the XP drivers especially the AUDIO codec. All else are running. I’m working to have the MAC OSX run also in this machine if Possible.

Rice shortage or too populated…

April 15, 2008

So how that stuff works….Ooooooops. Are there really a shortage on rice or God has something to tell us on what was happening in our country. In the US, their main problem was Obesity. It’s maybe the ate a lot and in our country we don’t have rice. So is this an ecological imbalance. If rice shortage was a problem, then why in Isabela has tons of rice. Isn’t there are people who hoards and let this things happen so that when the price is right they will earn more from what they have expected. Right, now when I ate I always make it a point I have my plate empty. I make it a point no rice was spared. I just want to help this country to move on. Big things start from small things. Think of something that you can share with the pilipino people. Go out from your comfort zone and share a blessing to others. Tomorrow we will have a better country, a better life that we both can share and enjoy.

Gob bless you…
